Every child is as delicate, enduring, and wondrous as nature itself; and some need a little more attention and support to create a strong foundation. The understanding of various social emotional needs is imperative to the education and well being of the gifted child. As a teacher it is my responsibility to develop a relationship that is built off trust and understanding of the child's needs. I then need to support, teach and encourage the gifted child and individuals in the child's life to understand those particular emotional needs.
